Araştırmaya, İstanbul ilinde yaşayan ve aktif cinsel hayatı olan 218 kadın 182 erkekten oluşan 400 birey katılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler Cinsel Doyum Ölçeği, Beck Depresyon Ölçeği, Beck Anksiyete Ölçeği ve UCLA Yalnızlık Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır.
