В дисертационния труд е направено комплексно проучване на храмовете проектирани и изградени от архитектон Димитър Сергюв. Представена е тяхната история на съграждане и характерните черти и особености в творческия почерк на майстора. Изследването на всяка известна до момента, както и непроучена църква извежда хронологичната линия на неговия творчески път. Чрез събраните сведения, анализи и огледи на място е доказано авторството му на десет храмови сгради, изградени по негови проекти. Успоредно с това са отхвърлени твърденията за намесата на майстора при строителството на постройки свързани с неговото име в научната литература. Анализирани и обобщени са всички характерни елементи оформящи творческия почерк на Димитър Сергюв. Разгледан е синтеза като начин на взаимодействие в интериорите на неговите храмове. Творецът работи в стилово единство, което се открива от първата до последната сграда. Като добър пример за опазване на недвижимото културно наследство, оставено от архитектона, е разгледана реставрацията на църквата „Свети Георги“ в град Трявна. Основният резултат от настоящото изследване е обобщената характеристика на почерка на архитектон Димитър Сергюв, което определя стила му и по безспорен начин доказва авторството на неговите църковни сгради. Тяхното комплексно проучване представя цялостния творчески портрет на майстора като го нарежда до имената на забележителните творци-строители на Българското възраждане. In the dissertation the complex research of the temples designed and built by the architect Dimitar Sergyuv is made. Their history of construction and the characteristic features and peculiarities in the creative handwriting of the master are presented. The study of every church known so far, as well as unexplored, shows the chronological line of his creative path. Through the collected information, analyzes and on-site inspections, his authorship of ten temple buildings, built according to his projects, has been proven. At the same time, the allegations of the master's interference in the construction of buildings related to his name in the scientific literature were rejected. All characteristic elements forming the creative handwriting of Dimitar Sergyuv are analyzed and summarized. Synthesis is considered as a way of interaction in the interiors of his temples. The artist works in a stylistic unity that opens from the first to the last building. The restoration of the church "St. George" in the town of Tryavna is considered as a good example for the preservation of the immovable cultural heritage left by the architect. The main result of the present study is the generalized characteristic of the handwriting of architect Dimitar Sergyuv, which determines his style and indisputably proves the authorship of his church buildings.
