Geleneksel üretimi yapılan takıların günümüzde giderek azalması bu konularda çalışmalar yapılması gerekliliğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu araştırmanın genel amacı, Ankara ili Altındağ ve Çankaya merkez ilçelerinde uygulanan mıhlama tekniğinin ve kuyumculuk atölyelerinde mıhlama tekniği ile üretilen takıları ve mıhlama tekniğinde kullanılan araç gereçlerin araştırılmasıdır. Araştırmada Ankara ili Altındağ ve Çankaya merkez ilçelerinde bulunan mıhlama atölyelerinde çalışan ustaların bilgilerine başvurulmuştur. Giderek el işçiliği mıhlama ve mıhlamanın yapılışında kullanılan teknikleri araştırılmış, yapım aşamaları fotoğraflanmış ve 50 ürünün bilgi formu hazırlanarak belgelenmiştir. Bilgi formları tablolaştırılarak açıklanmış, sonuçlar sayı ve yüzde olarak ortaya konulmuştur. Ankara ili Altındağ ve Çankaya merkez ilçelerinde bulunan atölyelerde üretilen ürünlerde kullanılan mıhlama tekniğinin en çok sıvama mıhlamanın daha sonra tırnaklı mıhlamanın uygulandığı görülmüştür. Bu mıhlama çeşitlerinin çok kullanılmasının sebebi ise tekniklerin daha az işçilik maliyetinin olması, üretilen ürünlerin maliyetinin artmasından dolayı daha az maliyetli ürünlerin seçilmesidir. Ankara ili Altındağ ve Çankaya merkez ilçelerinde bulunun atölyelerde kullanılan mıhlama tekniğinin geçmişte her bir çeşidi taşlı takılarda daha çok kullanılmıştır. Buna rağmen teknolojik gelişmelerle beraber yeni çıkan araç ve gereçler geleneksel olarak uygulanan mıhlama tekniğinin çeşitlerinin her geçen gün daha az kullanılmasına neden olmuştur. Nowadays, traditional production of jewelry is gradually decreasing and it is necessary to carry out studies on these issues. The general aim of this study is to investigate the nailing technique used in the central districts of Altındağ and Çankaya districts of Ankara and jewelery workshops and the tools used in the setting technique. In the study, the information of the masters working in the mapping workshops in the central districts of Ankara and Altındağ was used. The techniques used in the construction of setting and setting were increasingly investigated, the construction steps were photographed and the data sheet of 50 products were prepared and documented. The information forms are tabulated and explained and the results are presented as numbers and percentages.
