الوصف: This study produced Al85Ni12.5Si2.5alloy byarc melting method. This alloy was annealed at four different temperatures (200 ºC, 300 ºC, 400 ºC, 500 ºC). After annealing alloysanalyzes were performed for microstructural, mechanical and thermal behaviourproperties of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) anddifferential thermal analysis (DTA). TheXRD results crystalline phases a-Al,Si, Al3Ni and Al3Ni2 were detected. The SEM investigations showed the formation of a-Al,Si and Al3Ni. The DTAcurves the melting point temperature of Al3Ni is to be as 574.8ºC. Mechanical properties of theas-cast and subsequently the micro hardness values of sample annealedat 300 ºC, 400 and 500 ºC were 135.8, 135.2 and 130 HVrespectively.
