| الوصف: | Background. The formation issues of youth’s political values are of considerable scientific interest and, first of all, due to the fact that the formation of values of this large group depends on how the formation of civil society will go, which social strata and groups will include different groups of young people, what their social behavior will be in the future. The purpose of the work is to study the features of the current state and trends in the development of political values and attitudes of modern youth. Materials and methods. The materials used are the results of studies of public opinion of university teachers in 22 cities of the Russian Federation on social activities in the region (2021, n = 850), con-ducted on the initiative of the Ulyanovsk State Technical University, as well as a secondary analysis of the materials of the Levada Center study and the results of the study of political values of the Penza region’s youth (2021, n = 654). Method – questionnaire survey on rep-resentative samples. Results. It is revealed that the political values of modern Russian youth are characterized by such features of the state as insufficient involvement in social ties and incomplete integration into society. Conclusions. Modern youth in their political asses-sments and opinions are most often guided by bloggers, Internet celebrities, as well as friends, peers, acquaintances, and this has a great influence on the formation of their values and civic positions. |
