| الوصف: | This study aims to reveal the meaning and function of ornament of former house of farms landlord in South Tambun, Bekasi Regency. The method used is descriptive analytical method with literature studies and internet data collection technique. The results obtained are the ornaments on the body of the building (walls, openings, pillars/columns), with geometric and organic motives. In general serves as ornamnet and reinforcement of the building as a supporter of functional structures. Diversity and the many ornaments on the colonial house indicates that their owners have a high social status with great power and well established economy. |
