| الوصف: | The aim of the article is to present a review and analysis of historical data concerning theories of testicular movement and the role of gubernaculum in the process of descent. Comprehensive analysis of morphological data involving the anatomical and histological characteristics has been considered in the work. Key factors involved into the mechanisms of testicular movement and functional role of gubernaculum in this process have been described in details. Particular attention has been paid to neurohumoral regulation. |
