| الوصف: | This paper discusses three mummy wrappings, stored in the Cairo Egyptian Museum with the inventory numbers SR 2201, 2202, 2203 (JE 96813), which are as yet unpublished. No information about their provenance, date and owner is recorded. The mummy wrapping SR 2201 is probably unique as it presents a cryptographic writing of the name of king Ramesses II with a representation of Cobra as Amun. The two other bandages present different abridged versions of BD Spell 101 for a woman named Nesikhonsu. Although no titles or family affiliations are included, she may have belonged to a Theban family of the Twenty-first Dynasty. This paper interprets these illustrations, and presents a transliteration, translation, and commentary of Spell 101. |
