| الوصف: | Migration can be seen as a factor of economic development when the incorporation of professionally qualified immigrants into the productive system of the host country enhances productivity, and its effect can improve the conditions of quality of life and local competitiveness. The purpose of this research, of descriptive type and cross section, is to characterize the professional competencies profile of the Venezuelan migrant population arriving in Peru in the 2017-2018 and its importance as the development opportunity it represents. The study showed that 85% of the population is under 45 years of age, 70% have completed higher education: 40% have professional and postgraduate degrees and 80% aspire to reunite with their family in Peru. These findings allow the study group to be considered as an alternative to be considered within the framework of the country's development. |
