الوصف:	The transcription factor GFI1 mediates the DNA damage response (DDR) of T cells through a yet unknown mechanism. Here the authors show that GFI1 can adopt non-transcriptional roles during DDR, enabling PRMT1 to bind and methylate the DNA repair proteins MRE11 and 53BP1.
