الوصف: Titanium is the most commonly used material for the production of implants,but titanium dental implants are not immune to corrosion due to the complex oral cavity environments.The concentration of titanium ions increases in tissues around the implants due to the corrosion,leading to allergic reactions and inflammation,which hinder the long-term safe service of implants.In this paper,the research progress on corrosion of titanium implants was reviewed based on different types of influencing factors,including corrosion due to the effect of inorganics and organics,corrosion due to microorganisms and tribocorrosion.Besides,the future research was prospected.
