الوصف: | Defective rhythmic metabolism is associated with high-fat diet feeding and obesity. The authors show that the clock gene BMAL1 drives paraventricular hypothalamic neuron activity via rhythmic GABAergic neurotransmission, and that this mediates diurnal metabolism and diet-induced obesity. |
