| الوصف: | The Biblioteca Brasiliana Guita e José Mindlin (BBM/PRCEU/USP) was created thanks to the donation of the Brasiliana collection to the University of São Paulo, which was compiled by José Mindlin during his lifetime. It brings together a significant bibliographic collection that seeks to represent the historical and cultural memory of Brazil. In addition to the bibliographic collection, BBM is also made up of a series of document sets, also donated to USP. According to its charter, BBM aims to preserve and provide unrestricted access to its bibliographic and document collections for researchers, students and the general public. To achieve its goals, the strategy is to develop a sustainable platform that allows users to consult and access these document sets that are also part of the BBM/PRCEU/USP collection. This work presents a retrospective of the project in progress, the difficulties encountered in its execution, the solutions found and the challenges still to come for the development of databases and digitized document sets for access. |
