مستخلص: Ovim istraživanjem želi se ispitati vrijednost retencijske adhezijske sile kod potpunih proteza. Mjerenja su obavljena na akrilatnim pločicama, površine 20,25 i 38,48 cm2 i debljine 3 mm. Kao adheziv rabljeno je šest različitih koncentracija umjetne sline. Mjerenja su obavljena na uređaju posebno pripremljenom za tu svrhu. U ispitivanom uzorku istraživane su sljedeće varijable: površina akrilatnih pločica, koncentracija sline između ispitivanih površina, debljina akrilatne pločice, i brzina odvajanja ispitivanih površina. Vrijednosti istraživanih adhezijskih sila iznesene su u njutnima (N). Dobiveni rezultati statistički su obrađeni tako da su izračunate aritmetičke sredine, standardne devijacije, najmanje i najveće vrijednosti varijable, koeficijenti varijabilnosti i vrijednost kovarijance. Na temelju rezultata i rasprave može se zaključiti da prosječna vrijednost adhezijske retencijske sile za ispitavani uzorak iznosi 21,36 N. Uočene su velike razlike u vrijednostima mjerenja, ovisno o veličini površine akrilatne pločice i o koncentraciji sline. Prosječna vrijednost retencijeske adhezijske sile u uzorku površine 38,48 cm2 iznosi 29,52 N, a u uzorak od 20 cm215,34 N.
The aim of the study was to assess the value of retention adhesion power in complete prostheses. Measurements were performed on acrylate plates o f20.25 and 38.482 area and 3 mm thick. Six different concentrations of artifical saliva specially designed instruments. The following variable were determined: area of acrylate plates, saliva thickness and rate of separation of the areas tested. The values of adhesion powers examined are expressed in newtons (N). Statistical processing of the results obtained included calculation of arithmetical means, standard deviations, minimal and maximal variable values, coefficients of variability and value of covariance. The results and discussion points to a conclusion that the mean value of adhesion retention power for the tested sample wa 21.36 N. Great differences were recorded between particular measurements, depending on the acrylate plate area and saliva concentration.The mean retention adhesion power in the samples of 38.38 and 20.25 cm2 area was 29.52 and 15.34 N, respectively.
