| مستخلص: | The splicing process is essential for the correct production of mature RNA and its protein translation. SON DNA-binding protein is a key member of the splicing machinery and crucial for the correct intron excision. In order to understand the function of SON protein and the mechanisms in which it is involved, different biochemical methods to study protein-protein interactions were applied together with mass spectronomy analysis. These findings provide better understanding of the role of the SON protein. Der Prozess des splicing ist essentiell für die fehlerfreie Produktion von reifer mRNA und deren Translation in Protein. SON-DNA-binding protein ist ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des splicing Apparates und maßgeblich an der korrekte Entfernung von Introns beteiligt. Um die Funktion des SON Proteins sowie den Mechanismus durch den es splicing beeinflusst zu verstehen, wurden unterschiedliche biochemische Methoden zur Analyse seiner Protein-Protein Interaktionen in Kombination mit Massenspektrometrie angewendet. Diese Ergebnisse führen zu einem besseres Verständnis der Funktion des SON Proteins. |
