| مستخلص: | Currently, the Algerian National Library is striving to digitize Algerian cultural heritage. This exercise became imperative due to physical damage to manuscripts when they were handled during reading. This case study aims to shed light on the challenges of manuscripts and rare books digitization in the Algerian context. In addition, this paper clarifies the Algerian National Library’s aspirations and plans to make manuscripts and rare books digitization a thriving endeavor. |
