| مستخلص: | Este estudio pretende clarificar la estructura social del Argel dieciochesco en tiempos del padre Francisco Ximénez de Santa Catalina, en el contexto de las relaciones entre la Monarquía Hispánica y el norte de África. Los rasgos fundamentales de estas relaciones se establecieron desde mediados del siglo XVI hasta finales del siglo XVIII. Se analizarán la diversidad étnica y los grupos humanos que configuraban la globalización de la Regencia argelina, y otras peculiaridades a través de los tres tomos manuscritos del Diario de Argel: RAH 9/6.008, RAH 9/6.009, RAH 9/6.010. Se atiende especialmente el primer tercio del siglo XVIII, período que corresponde a la estancia argelina del trinitario calzado en su calidad de predicador mayor del hospital de la Santísima Trinidad, y asimismo a la redacción de los folios de su Diario manuscrito. This study aims to clarify the social structure of 18th century Algiers in the time of Father Francisco Ximénez de Santa Catalina, in the context of relations between the Spanish Monarchy and North Africa. The fundamental features of these relations were established from the mid-16th century to the end of the 18th century. The ethnic diversity and the human groups that configured the globalization of the Algerian Regency, and other peculiarities will be analyzed through the three manuscript volumes of the Diario de Argel: RAH 9/6.008, RAH 9/6.009, RAH 9/6.010. Special attention is paid to the first third of the 18th century, a period that corresponds to the stay in Algiers of the Trinitarian in his capacity as predicador mayor of the Hospital of the Most Holy Trinity, and the writing of his diary. |
