| مستخلص: | Green Lawn Plantation is located one mile south of Meridianville on Highway 231-431 North. The home was built in 1850 by merchant and planter William Madison Otey for his wife, Octavia. The house served as the center of their cotton plantation of several hundred acres. Although Madison died at the age of 47 in 1865, Octavia continued to live there until her death in 1890. |
