| مستخلص: | Most of the 14 deposits with over 100 t Au in the Superior and Slave cratons occur in greenstone belts, in spatial association with major fault zones and in a few cases in turbidites. Different styles include quartz-carbonate veins related to shear zones and folds at Dome, Pamour, Hollinger-McIntyre, Kerr-Addison, Kirkland Lake, Sigma-Lamaque, Con-Giant and parts of Lupin, zones of disseminated sulphides and/or stockworks around porphyry bodies at Hemlo and Malartic, massive sulphide lenses at Horne, Bousquet 2 and parts of Lupin, sulphide-rich veins, stockworks and disseminated sulphides at Doyon and Bousquet 1, and carbonate (with or without quartz) veins at Campbell-Arthur W White. Three broad categories of genetic models are: synvolcanic exhalative, sub-seafloor replacement or shallow-marine epithermal; intrusion-related in young arc settings; and syntectonic mesothermal.
