| مستخلص: | The concentrator, the first major operation in Canada to use the carbon in pulp process, commenced treating ore in July 1983 and is expected to reach planned capacity of 2500 tonnes/day, with millheads at the average mine grade of 0.113 oz gold/ton, and 92% recovery by the end of October. Initially, millfeed will be supplied from the open pit but work on the underground development is underway. Probable ore reserves, including dilution, are 30 600 000 tons, which on the basis of planned milling capacities are sufficient for 22 years yielding 3 500 000 ounces of gold and 1 500 000 ounces silver and 50 000 tons of copper as byproducts. The discovery and development of the reserve is described.
