مستخلص:	This paper puts in question the legitimation of the recognition of the LGBTQI + population regarding a category of gender: the Queer subject. Through the organization of two workshops held at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG) and the Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel), equipped with our methodological tripod -that is, information, construction and sensitization -we were able to dialogue with approximately 80 students on Archeology and the Queer Theory. Entitled Arqueologia e Teoria Queer: por uma Arqueologia Transviada, the workshop made it possible to elucidate the questions posed by Gontijo & Schaan (2017) through the ratification ofthe subordinated individual who is subordinate through the current binarity of gender, delimited by the values of Western culture. Em decorrência do Projeto de Modernidade que está em vigor na realidade de nós, brasileiros, apresentaremos um artigo que coloca em pauta a legitimação do reconhecimento da população LGBTQI+ a respeito de uma categoria de gênero: o sujeito Queer. Através da organização de duas oficinas realizadas na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG) e na Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel), equipadas com nosso tripé metodológico - isto é, informação, construção e sensibilização -, fomos capazes de dialogar com aproximadamente 80 estudantes sobre Arqueologia e a Teoria Queer. Intitulado como Arqueologia e Teoria Queer: por uma Arqueologia Transviada, a oficina possibilitou elucidar os questionamentos levantados por Gontijo & Schaan (2017) através da ratificação do indivíduo transviado que fica subalterno mediante a vigente binariedade de gênero, delimitada pelos valores da cultura ocidental.
