| مستخلص: | This article explores Nicolás Guillén Landrián’s early documentaries, shot in the mid 60’s, as an expression of the spirit of resistance and plurality among marginal groups (black Cubans living in Havana and peasants from isolated eastern settlements) at a time in which the markers of a difference were seen as a threat to Castroism’s regularizing discourse. In these short films, Guillén Landrián introduced an anthropological perspective that focused on those social subjects to whom the utopian enthusiasm of the time ended up by excluding from the grand narrative of redemption fostered by the Revolution. Este artigo aborda os primeiros documentários de Nicolás Guillén Landrián, de meados dos anos 1960 e interpretados como expressão do espírito de resistência e da pluralidade de alguns grupos marginais (a comunidade afro-cubana de Havana e as colónias de camponeses na zona leste da ilha) numa época em que os marcadores da diferença eram julgados uma ameaça para o discurso normalizador do castrismo. Nessas curtas-metragens, Guillén Landrián introduziu um olhar antropológico focado naqueles sujeitos sociais que o entusiasmo utópico do momento acabaria por excluir da meta-narrativa messiânica promovida pela Revolução. En este artículo analizaré los primeros documentales de Nicolás Guillén Landrián, realizados a mediados de los 1960, como expresión del espíritu de resistencia y pluralidad de los grupos marginales (la comunidad afrocubana de La Habana y los campesinos de Oriente) en un momento en el que los marcadores de la diferencia se veían como una amenaza para el discurso regularizador del castrismo. En estos cortometrajes, Guillén Landrián introdujo una mirada antropológica que se centraba en aquellos sujetos sociales que el entusiasmo utópico del momento terminaría por excluir de la metanarrativa mesiánica de la Revolución |
