| مستخلص: | The Covid 19 pandemic has challenging us to reflect on building a better world. If history has proven anything, it is that man is a being who continually surpasses himself, is always improving, and technological advances are a manifestation of that reality. However, building a human society, in which everyone's life counts as an end, where there is no hunger or unemployment, in which everyone has access to education, health and a planet with resources is more complex than the development of science and technology. It is easier to build and equip buildings by cutting construction times, than stop hunger, than to make poverty disappear, that everyone has decent work, in short, than to build the common good: where everyone feels responsible for everyone and not only of his particular interests. But this is possible if we have people that are determined to inherit to the next generations a better world. This essay takes a tour of some of the approaches that renowned jurists, economists, sociologists and psychologists have contributed so that we all feel responsible for everyone and achieve a better world, where the resources are better distributed. La pandemia del Covid 19 nos está interpelando a la reflexión sobre la construcción de un mejor mundo. Si algo ha demostrado la historia es que el hombre es un ser que se supera continuamente, siempre busca mejorar y el avance tecnológico es una manifestación de esto. Sin embargo, construir una sociedad humana, en la que la vida de cada uno cuente como fin, en donde no haya hambre, ni desempleo, en el que todos tengan acceso a la educación, a la salud y a un planeta con recursos en buen estado, es mucho más complejo que el desarrollo de la ciencia y la tecnología. Es más fácil construir y equipar edificios recortando los tiempos de construcción, que parar el hambre, que conseguir que la pobreza desaparezca, que todos tengan trabajo digno, en definitiva, que construir el bien común: en donde todos se sientan responsables de todos y no solo de sus intereses particulares. Pero esto es posible si se cuenta con personas de toda raza, credo, posición que están decididos a heredar a las próximas generaciones un mundo mejor. En este artículo se hace un recorrido por algunas de los planteamientos que reconocidos juristas, economistas, sociólogos y psicólogos han ido aportando para que todos nos sintamos responsables de todos y consigamos edificar un mundo más incluyente y donde los bienes estén mejor distribuidos. |
