مستخلص:	The main objective of the article was to verify the economic and financial viability of acassava flour agribusiness in the rural area of Manaus-AM. The specific objectivesare: a) to highlight the socioeconomic characteristics of farmers associated with thecooperative; and b) verify the economic and financial viability using the followingindicators: Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Present Value (NPV) and Payback. Thestudy can be classified as an action research and a case study. The cassava flouragribusiness can be a good strategy to improve the results of farmers’ productiveactivities. Based on the observed indicators, it can be said that investment inagribusiness is viable considering a realistic scenario O artigo teve como objetivo principal verificar a viabilidade econômico-financeira de uma agroindústria de farinha de mandioca da área rural de Manaus-AM. Apresentam-se como objetivos específicos: a) destacar as características socioeconômicas dos agricultores associados à cooperativa; e b) verificar a viabilidade econômica e financeira a partir dos seguintes indicadores: Taxa Interna de Retorno (TIR), Valor Presente Líquido (VPL) e Payback. O estudo pode ser classificado como uma pesquisa-ação e um estudo de caso. A agroindústria da farinha de mandioca pode ser uma boa estratégia para melhorar os resultados das atividades produtivas dos agricultores. A partir dos indicadores observados pode-se afirmar que o investimento na agroindústria é viável considerando um cenário realista.
