| مستخلص: | Quantitative cross-sectional studies carried out in geriatric centers have focused on older adults and omit the recognition of the psychological well-being of their health personnel. For this reason, mental health being a pillar for integral wellbeing requires great attention and research on health personnel who, after the arduous task of fighting COVID- 19, have experienced physical and psychological exhaustion. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the levels of anxiety and intolerance in the health personnel of the CAMM of the IESS of Cuenca and the CRIE of Azogues. For this purpose, we worked from a quantitative, non-experimental approach with correlational and cross- sectional scope. The instruments used corresponded to the sociodemographic card elaborated by the members of the study, the Intolerance to Uncertainty Scale (EII) oriented to measure a specific domain of anxiety and the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) that allowed measuring anxiety levels. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS software, and descriptive statistics were used to indicate the most relevant characteristics of the population and Spearman's coefficient to determine the relationship between variables. The results obtained showed that there is a directly proportional relationship between intolerance to uncertainty and anxiety levels. |
