مستخلص:	Dette speciale undersøger de potentielle muligheder og udfordringer der er i bestræbelsen på at skabe inklusion i byplanlægning, her med et udvalgt fokus på målgruppen af unge kvinder i indre by i København. Grundet stigende urbanisering, manglende fokus og anerkendelse af unge kvinders behov i byer, samt manglende viden om samspillet mellem menneskers omgivelser og mentale trivsel, skabes en række forhindringer for skabelsen af inklusive byer - på trods af at alle burde trives, når de er i og bruger byens rum. Det er således en kompleks problemstilling. Med udgangspunkt i de tre teoretiske begreber af stedsforståelse (sense of place), tilhørsforhold (sense of belonging), og en følelse af inklusion (sense of inclusion), kombineret med flere dataindsamlingsmetoder i form af et spørgeskema, interviews, observationer, fotokartering, belyser dette speciale flere vinkler af denne kompleksitet. Først laves en detaljeret case-beskrivelse af indre by af København, efterfulgt af en analyse, der undersøger de unge kvinders brug og oplevelse af bydelen, for at belyse deres forståelse af det som sted - nemlig deres sense of place. Bagefter undersøges muligheder for at udvikle denne stedsforståelse til positiv gavn for deres trivsel, der vil føre til en række anbefalinger til, hvordan bydelen kan blive mere inkluderende i forhold til deres behov. Til sidst laves en diskussion af betydningen af målrettet byplanlægning, samt de udfordringer det indebærer, med afsæt i udsagn fra tre fagprofessionelle i byudviklingsprojekter. Specialet bidrager med ny viden og nye perspektiver, der skal bidrage til en dybere forståelse af den komplekse problemstilling. Resultaterne viser at hensynstagen til alle i byplanlægning er vigtigt i bestræbelsen på at skabe mere inkluderende byer til gavn for alle. This thesis explores the possibilities and challenges of achieving inclusivity in urban planning, with a specific focus on the demographic of young women in the inner city of Copenhagen. Due to the rapid increase in urbanization, a lack of focus and acknowledgement of women's needs within cities, and a lack of knowledge regarding the interaction between people's surroundings and their mental wellbeing, all of this becomes crucial for the creation of cities that are inclusive for all - as everyone should thrive and feel wellbeing when using the city. Achieving this goal, however, is not without challenges. Based on a foundation of the theoretical concepts of sense of place, sense of belonging, and sense of inclusion, combined with a multi-method approach consisting of a survey, interviews, observations, and photo mapping, this thesis sheds light on several angles of the complexity. First, a detailed case description is made of the inner city of Copenhagen, followed by an analysis that examines the young women's use and experiences of the district, in order to shed light on their understanding of it as a place - namely their sense of place. Afterwards, possibilities for developing their sense of place for the benefit of their wellbeing is going to be investigated, leading onto recommendations for how the district can become more inclusive of their needs. Lastly, by examining professionals in urban development, it is going to be discussed why targeted urban planning matters in the pursuit of inclusion, and which challenges it contains. The thesis provides new knowledge and perspectives that contribute to a deeper understanding of the complexity, whereas the findings suggest that taking everyone into account in urban planning can contribute to the creation of a more inclusive city for the benefit of all.
