| الوصف: | La publication récente de répertoires numismatique et gemmologique relatifs aux divinités isiaques permet de confronter avec pertinence deux types de sources historiques appartenant à des sphères bien différentes. Une analyse comparée méthodique révèle des convergences et des écarts hautement significatifs, affinant notre connaissance d’un pan non négligeable de l’imaginaire religieux de la période gréco-romaine. Si nombre de gemmes copient à l’identique des motifs monétaires, d’autres portent des compositions originales générées via divers modes opératoires, les critères présidant au choix des images n’étant pas les mêmes sur les pierres gravées que sur les monnaies. Le répertoire de la glyptique s’avère ainsi beaucoup plus riche que celui de la numismatique. Il convient donc de s’intéresser à leurs cadres de production, à leurs réseaux de distribution et de diffusion, à leurs modes de perception et à leurs usages pour tenter d’en appréhender la raison d’être. The recent publications of both a coin and a gem catalogue pertaining to the Isiac cults makes possible a useful comparison of these two kinds of historical sources that belong to very different areas. A systematic comparative analysis reveals highly significant similarities and differences, which refine our knowledge and understanding of the religious imaginary in the Greco-Roman world. Although a large number of depictions on gemstones are undoubtedly copies of monetary types, many others are original compositions created through various procedures, since the criteria for the image selection are not the same in the two fields. Thus, the glyptic repertoire appears to be richer and more complex than the numismatic one. It is therefore necessary to focus on their production frames, their networks of distribution and dissemination, their modes of perception and their uses, in order to attempt an understanding of their respective "raison d’être".
