| الوصف: | En este estudio trataremos de reconocer la relación entre cofradía, comunidad y poder en una sociedad indígena del Tucumán colonial, particularmente en aquellas prácticas y rituales cristianos, re-significados y re-apropiados por la comunidad y relacionados con los difuntos, como alternativa a la actualización de la figura andina de los ancestros, en cuanto bases de legitimidad y de legitimación del poder. Se centra en las primeras décadas del siglo xviii, con el objeto de reconocer las características y el funcionamiento de la cofradía en un momento de consolidación institucional y comunitaria, resultado del proceso que se desarrolló a lo largo del siglo xvii. In this study we try to discern the relationship between confraternity, community and power in an indigenous society of the colonial Tucumán, particularly in those practices and Christian rituals involving the deceased. They were reappropriated and given a new meaning by the community as an alternative to update the Andean figure of the ancestors as bases of legitimacy and power legitimation. The work focuses on the early decades of the 18th century, in order to recognize the characteristics and operation of the confraternity at a time of institutional and community consolidation resulting from the process that took place during the 17th century. |
