In his first part, the text shows the importance of the International Congress of Americanists in his trajectory along more than one century, and later it focuses in a short analysis of the symposiums about the city presented in his recent edition (the 54th Congress, that took place in Vienna in July, 2012) as a sample of the current urban research in Latin America. |
