| الوصف: | Este estudio presenta por vez primera la catalogación y análisis de un valioso fondo de 44 fragmentos litúrgico-musicales (ss. XI-XVI), localizado en diferentes archivos de la provincia de Guadalajara. En su conjunto, las fuentes nos ofrecen una amplia panorámica de la actividad cultual desarrollada en la diócesis de Sigüenza desde su restauración, entre los años 1121 y 1124, hasta el Concilio de Trento. La importancia de dicha Iglesia en el mapa eclesiástico ibérico radica en su posición fronteriza entre Aragón y Castilla, lo que la convertiría de facto en testigo privilegiado de la confluencia de prácticas litúrgicas y musicales diversas. El planteamiento metodológico propuesto presenta una marcada aspiración interdisciplinar en donde se aglutinan áreas como la musicología, la liturgia, la historia o la paleografía. Entre los aspectos más destacables de este corpus de fragmentos está el hallazgo de un antifonario datado hacia 1100 con un Oficio propio de Santiago apóstol, el cual, por fecha de copia, es anterior al del célebre Codex Calixtinus, con quien comparte interesantes concordancias textuales y melódicas. El otro gran punto de interés es un bifolio de música polifónica de principios del siglo XIV, con restos de cuatro composiciones en notación franconiana. This study presents for the first time the catalogue and analyse of a valuable collection of 44 liturgical fragments (11th-16th centuries), located in various archives in the province of Guadalajara. Altogether, the sources offer a wide overview of the worshipping activity carried out in the Diocese of Sigüenza from its restoration, between 1121 and 1124, until the Council of Trent. The importance of this Church in the Iberian context lies in its frontier position between Aragon and Castile, which would make it in a privileged witness of the confluence of diverse liturgical and musical practices. The methodological approach proposed here presents a marked interdisciplinary aspiration including different fields of study such as: musicology, liturgy, history or palaeography. Among the most outstanding elements of this fragmentary corpus is the discovery of an antiphonary with a proper Office of St James the Apostle, dated ca. 1100, and therefore, in an earlier version than the Codex Calixtinus, with which it shares interesting textual and melodic concordances. The other great point of attraction is a bifolio of polyphonic music from the beginning of the 14th century, with excerpts of four compositions in Franconian notation. |
