| الوصف: | This paper deals with the, at least apparent, syntactic cuts and alterations appearing frequently in the construction of unplanned or planned on-the-go discourse, as it is the case of everyday conversation. Our study claims that an analysis following the discourse units theory caters to their oral nature and their pragmatic functions and is able to offer a description and an explanation for these syntactic cuts. Our aim is to evaluate whether these syntactically cut segments can also be considered cut from a communicative perspective. We can even challenge whether they can be called cuts if they are to be analysed within a conversation units theory, specifically the proposal from the research group Val.Es.Co. (Briz & others 2003, Val.Es.Co. Group 2014). Este trabajo examina las frecuentes rupturas y alteraciones, al menos aparentes, de la construcción en el discurso no planificado o planificado sobre la marcha, como el de la conversación coloquial. Nuestro trabajo mantiene que un análisis desde una teoría de unidades discursivas puede ofrecer una descripción y explicación de estos “cortes sintácticos” más acorde con su carácter oral y de acuerdo con su funcionamiento pragmático. Nuestro objetivo consistirá, además, en evaluar si estos segmentos “cortados” sintácticamente lo son también desde el punto de vista comunicativo, incluso, si han de seguir considerándose propiamente cortes, examinados ahora desde una teoría de unidades de la conversación, en concreto, la propuesta por el grupo de investigación Val.Es.Co. (Briz y otros 2003, Grupo Val.Es.Co. 2014). |
