| الوصف: | Cet article se propose d’étudier les rapports entre Mendiants et membres de la Faculté des arts et médecine à Bologne entre la fin du XIIIe siècle et le milieu du XIVe siècle. Ce cadre est en effet très particulier en raison de la présence dans la cité de ce studium laïc très important, d’écoles mendiantes très actives, mais aussi de l’absence de faculté de théologie avant 1364. On étudie d’abord l’aspect institutionnel de ces rapports, puis les échanges et passages de Mendiants entre la ville et le reste de l’Occident, pour enfin aborder deux cas particuliers remarquables : le manuscrit 445 (D.III.19) de la Biblioteca Comunale Teresina de Mantoue et l’œuvre du professeur de médecine Tommaso del Garbo (mort vers 1370). L’ensemble démontre que les contacts entre les membres des deux institutions n’étaient pas qu’institutionnels et dévotionnels : ils allaient jusqu’à une nette influence sur le contenu des doctrines, dans des échanges non pas concurrentiels, mais collaboratifs. This article tries to explore the relationship between Mendicants and members of the Arts and Medicine Faculty in Bologna from the end of the 13th century to the middle of the 14th. This setting is, indeed, quite specific because of the presence, in this city, of a very important lay studium, of dynamic mendicant schools, but also of the lack of a theological faculty before 1364. We present first the institutional aspects of the relationship, then the exchanges and the moves of Mendicants between the city and the rest of the Latin world, and finally two notable cases: the manuscript 445 (D.III.19) of the Biblioteca Comunale Teresina of Mantova, and the works of the professor of medicine Tommaso del Garbo (d. c. 1370). All this demonstrates that the links between the members of both institutions were not only institutional or devotional: they had a clear influence on the content and the doctrines in the texts, with exchanges that were not competitive, but collaborative. |
