| الوصف: | The Anglo-Saxon economic model was mainly set up in the 1970s and 1980s as an answer to the overextended Keynesian System and to the relative decline of both the United States and Great Britain (Reaganism and Thatcherism) as compared to Latin countries (Italy, Spain) and Far Eastern nations (Japan and the Four Tigers). It is built on the works of neo-liberal economists and the working of international financial institutions (e.g. the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank). A case study of the present US policy in international trade shows the active part played by the Administration which cannot, however, counter the rise of the masters of growth and real capitalism in East Asia. |
