| الوصف: | Trois habitats du haut Moyen Âge ont été fouillés sur une même commune au cours des opérations préventives réalisées à Montours, sur l’autoroute des estuaires (A84) reliant Rennes à Avranches. Un quatrième site, répondant aux mêmes problématiques, se situe plus au sud sur la commune de La Chapelle‑Saint‑Aubert. Les résultats présentés ici enrichissent des données archéologiques encore peu nombreuses pour le haut Moyen Âge en Ille‑et‑Vilaine. L’étude de ces habitats ruraux, carolingiens, laisse entrevoir une gestion structurée et dynamique de l’environnement, qui a été analysé avec le concours d’une équipe de paléoenvironnementalistes. Ainsi, le fond de vallon tourbeux qui sépare les sites a fourni de précieuses données sur l’évolution de la végétation. Archaeological research carried out prior to the construction of the A84 motorway link between Rennes and Avranches included excavation of three early medieval settlements located in the rural municipality of Montours. A fourth site of equal interest is located to the south in the municipality of La Chapelle‑Saint‑Aubert. The results presented here constitute a significant contribution to the sparse archaeological information available on the early Middle Ages in the department of Ille‑et‑Vilaine. Analysis of these Carolingian‑period rural settlements, including work by a team of paleo‑environmentalists, reveals the extent to which the surrounding environment was managed in an organised, interactive manner. The peat‑covered valley floor separating the sites has provided valuable information concerning changes in vegetation over time. lm Rahmen der Präventivgrabungen in Montours auf der Autobahnteilstrecke « Les Estuaires »(A84) zwischen Rennes und Avranches, sind in einer Ortschaft drei Wohnstätten des frühen Mittelalters ergraben worden. Ein vierter Fundplatz mit ähnlicher Problematik liegt weiter südlich in der Gemeinde La Chapelle‑Saint‑Aubert. Die hier dargestellten wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse ergänzen die noch seltenen archäologischen Erkenntnisse über das Frühmittelalter im Departement Ille‑et‑Vilaine. Die Untersuchung dieser bäuerlichen Siedlungen aus karolingischer Zeit lässt erkennen, dass die Umwelt strukturiert und dynamisch geplant war, sie ist unter Mitwirkung eines Spezialistenteams für die Erforschung der Paläoumwelt analysiert worden. So hat der torfreiche Talgrund, der die Fundplätze von einander trennt, zahlreiche wertvolle Informationen bezüglich der Entwicklung der Vegetation geliefert. |
