| الوصف: | Les patrimoines monastiques des Abruzzes ont été constitués au cours des viiie et ixe s. Ils ont bénéficié d’un lent mouvement de concentration foncière qui a été freiné cependant par la résistance des paysans alleutiers. Le domaine biparti était une exception dans le paysage agraire des Abruzzes au Moyen Âge. Les monastères ont rarement réussi à constituer de véritables réserves. Les paysans libres étaient à même de retarder ou d’éviter leur incorporation dans le système domanial. De la fin du viiie à la fin du ixe s., ils ont été en conflit avec les monastères. La réalisation du processus de l’incastellamento fut lente et resta incomplète. Elle n’entraîna pas un bouleversement complet des structures agraires qui encore au xiie s. étaient dominées par la petite exploitation. Monastic domains in the Abruzzi region are created during the eighth and ninth centuries. They benefit from the slow development of land acquisition in the region, due to resistance on the part of allodial peasant society. A two‑part domainal organization remains the rule in the agrarian landscape of early medieval Abruzzi. Monasteries rarely produce surpluses, and free peasants succeed in delaying or avoiding completely incorporation into domainal organization. From the late eighth to the late ninth century, castral domains are in conflict with monastic land organization. Incastellamento is slow and incomplete, and does not fully replace the older agrarian organization into small units until the twelfth century. |
