| الوصف: | Chez Montaigne, un procédé estrangeant opère à double niveau. Premièrement, en tant que catégorie de fruition des Essais ; deuxièmement, en tant que critère de leur composition. Ces deux niveaux se compénètrent au nom de l’« estrangement autobiographique » imposé par le projet de se peindre. On analysera l’autoportrait défamiliarisant de Montaigne en questionnant sans cesse son approche au moi et sa conscience des problèmes de l’écriture autobiographique. In Montaigne’s Essays the estrangement effect appears to be active on a double level. Primarily, as a category of fruition of Montaigne’s work; secondarily, as a decisive factor playing its role in the composition of the Essays. These two levels are bound to each other in the “autobiographical estrangement” of the self-portrait achieved by Montaigne, which will be analyzed through an inquiry into his approach to the self and the alienating issues of autobiographic writing. |
