| الوصف: | Dès le début du xixe s., l’habitat antique admirablement bien conservé des villages de l’ancienne province romaine d’Arabie (Syrie du Sud et Jordanie) a attiré l’attention des archéologues. L’originalité des solutions architecturales développées dans un environnement contraignant, l’organisation des maisons qui renseigne sur le mode de vie de ses habitants, le lieu de production et de stockage qu’on y reconnaît et qui permet d’appréhender l’économie de cette région, justifient cet intérêt. À Bosra, capitale de cette province, l’urbanisme et l’architecture monumentale ont fait l’objet de nombreuses recherches, et l’étude de l’habitat antique n’a pas été négligée. Nous tentons dans cet article de réunir la documentation qui le concerne. Les vestiges de cet habitat sont ténus, mais ils permettent d’observer que si l’architecture domestique urbaine adopte bien les particularités locales (matériaux et modes de construction, salles à alcôves, salles à auges), on trouve aussi des aménagements qui la distinguent des installations villageoises (salles de réception triconques, bains privés). Since the beginning of the 19th cent., the very well preserved dwelling of the villages of the Ancient Roman province of Arabia (southern Syria and Jordan) drews the attention of archaeologists. The original architectural solutions developed in a restrictive environment, the organization of the houses who gives information about the lifestyle of the inhabitants, the place of production and storage that we can recognize in it and who allows us to study the economic model of this region justifie this interest. At Bosra, the capital of the province, urban planning and monumental architecture were the subject of much attention, however the study of ancient dwelling has not been neglected. In this article, we try to gather the documentation concerning it. The remains of this dwelling are weak, but they allow us to observe that if the urban domestic architecture adopts many local features (material and methods of construction, recesses, rooms with troughs), some other distinguish it from the village houses facilities (triconchos, private baths). منذ بداية القرن التاسع عشر، جذب المسكن القديم المحفوظ بشكل مثير للإعجاب في قرى الولاية العربية القديمة (سورية الجنوبية و الأردن) انتباه علماء الآثار. إن أصالة الحلول المعمارية المطورة ضمن بيئة مقيدة، و تنظيم البيوت الذي ينبئنا بنمط حياة سكانها، و أماكن الإنتاج و التخزين التي نميزها فيها و تتيح فهم اقتصاد هذه المنطقة، كلها تبرر هذا الاهتمام. في بصرى، عاصمة هذه الولاية، كان التخطيط الحضري و عمارة الأوابد موضوعاً لبحوث عديدة، و لكن لم تهمل دراسة المسكن القديم، و نحاول في هذه المقالة جمع الوثائق الخاصة به. إن بقايا هذا المسكن ضئيلة، و لكنها تسمح بأن نلاحظ أنه إذا كانت العمارة الداخلية الحضرية تتبنى تماماً الخصوصيات المحلية (مواد و أساليب البناء، و القاعات ذات مخادع النوم، و القاعات ذات الأحواض)، و نجد كذلك أعمال التنسيق التي تميزها عن الإنشاءات القروية (قاعات الاستقبال الثلاثية الفصوص، و الحمامات الخاصة). |
