| الوصف: | La revue Ζυγός a été l’une des revues d’art grecques les plus reconnues et celle qui a paru le plus longtemps. Cette contribution étudie la portée des idées des artistes, des théoriciens et des critiques d’art français à travers les articles qu’ils y ont écrits et les textes qui y ont été publiés en réponse, d’une part, et, d’autre part, à travers les références à d’autres auteurs français faites par les collaborateurs grecs de la revue. Cette étude révèle que la revue Ζυγός s’associe à une vision modérée de la modernité, une vision qui accepte l’art abstrait comme la pointe de la modernité, tout en plaidant pour un chemin intermédiaire entre l’art comme imitation fidèle de la nature et la rupture complète avec celle-ci. Ζυγός magazine was one of the longest-running and best-known art magazines in Greece. This article studies the extent of the reach of French artists, theorists and art critics, through the articles they wrote for the magazines and the texts that were published in response, on the one hand, and through the references to other French writers made by the Greek contributors on the other. This examination reveals that Ζυγός magazine espoused a moderate vision of modernity, one that accepted abstract art as the cutting edge, while defending the idea of a middle ground between art that faithfully reproduced nature and the complete opposite. |
