| الوصف: | Nuove acquisizioni inducono a considerare l’originaria pertinenza a un gruppo di una statuetta bronzea di cavallo, risalente alla prima età orientalizzante, rinvenuta nel deposito votivo esplorato in località Banditella presso Vulci (Canino, Viterbo). L’anathema si inserisce nel fitto quadro dei rapporti che legavano le maestranze attive a Vulci alle cerchie artigianali del Vicino Oriente e dell’Egeo, evidenziando così ancora una volta la funzione di polo attrattivo esercitata dell’Etruria nel Mediterraneo, nonché la capacità di ricezione delle élites tirreniche. New informations regarding a horse bronze statuette found in a votive deposit explored at Banditella near Vulci (Canino, Viterbo) allow us to consider it as part of a bronze group and to date it to the early Orientalizing period. The votive offering reflects the relationships among craftsmen of various origins working in Vulci and the skilled workers of Near East and of the Aegean. It justifies once again the importance of Etruria in the Mediterranean sea and the high capacity of the Tyrrhenian elites to experiment new oversea ideas. |
