| الوصف: | La fouille conduite sur le territoire de la commune d’Aoste (Isère) au lieu-dit Normandoz a fourni des éléments significatifs à la connaissance de l’artisanat de la terre cuite en Dauphiné au bas Moyen Âge. L’analyse d’une partie de deux ateliers de potiers repose sur un mobilier céramique très abondant ainsi que sur les structures et objets liés à l’activité de production artisanale. Le répertoire typologique régional des céramiques des xive et xve siècles peut être largement complété par les formes produites à Aoste. La mise en évidence de la fabrication de carreaux de poêle décorés du xve siècle constitue un des apports les plus étonnants de la fouille. À ce jour, c’est le témoignage le plus méridional de la production de ces objets, traditionnellement cantonnée à l’Europe du nord-est. Excavations carried out in Aoste (Isère) on the “Normandoz” site, have made a significant contribution to our knowledge of the late-medieval pottery industry in the Dauphiné region. Analysis of part of two potters’ workshops is based upon the highly abundant pottery finds as well as evidence for structures and other finds related to the production site. The regional pottery repertory for the 14th and 15th centuries is substantially enhanced by the wares produced in Aoste. One of the most surprising discoveries is evidence for the manufacture of decorated stove-tiles during the 15th century. At this point, it is the southern-most example of production of objects traditionally associated with north-eastern Europe. Eine Grabung in der Gemarkung von Aoste (Isère), Flur Normandoz, lieferte einen bedeutenden Beitrag zur Kenntnis des spätmittelalterlichen Keramikhandwerkes in der Dauphiné. Zwei Töpferwerkstätten konnten anhand zahlreicher Keramikfunde sowie der Funde und Befunde, die mit der Irdenwarenherstellung zu tun haben, teilweise untersucht werden. Die regionale Keramiktypologie des 14. und des 15. Jhs. läßt sich mit den in Aoste hergestellten Formen trefflich ergänzen. Eine der größten Überraschungen dieser Grabung ist der Nachweis, dass hier im 15. Jh. verzierte Ofenkacheln produziert wurden. Bis heute ist das der südlichste Beleg für die Herstellung solcher Gegenstände, die gewöhnlich auf Nordosteuropa beschränkt bleibt. |
