Nous avons cherché à localiser et caractériser l’ancienne ceinture maraîchère de Nancy, en utilisant principalement le cadastre napoléonien. Ces jardins ont disparu pour la plus grande part, et les dernières concentrations existantes de jardins en continuité avec l’ancienne ceinture maraîchère constituent un patrimoine qui mérite une attention particulière. Ceinture maraîchère, ceinture verte, alimentation, Nancy Market gardening belts once surrounded many cities, allowing them to be supplied with various fresh products. We sought to locate and characterize the former food belt of Nancy, using the Napoleonic cadastre. These gardens have for the most part disappeared, and the last existing concentrations of gardens in continuity with the former market garden belt constitute a heritage that deserves special attention. |
