| الوصف: | A partir de tres casos de circulación de rumores en Tucumán, analizaremos los vínculos evidenciados entre las noticias alarmantes y el estado de exaltación entre la población de esta provincia que contaba con una ubicación periférica respecto al puerto de Buenos Aires, pero medular respecto al enfrentamiento militar. Durante los primeros años de la revolución la incertidumbre respecto a la continuación del ciclo de guerras de independencia había impactado de forma singular, debido a su carácter de espacio de acampamiento del Ejército Auxiliar del Perú entre 1811 y 1819.En un terreno historiográfico fértil pero aún poco explorado, y siguiendo algunas de las pautas de George Lefebvre referidas al “gran miedo de 1789”, el presente trabajo sostiene que los rumores constituían una clave fundamental para el acceso popular a la participación política. Relacionados a menudo con la movilización, pero también con los temores compartidos, su propagación causaba la inmediata reacción de las autoridades político-militares y permitían construir canales alternativos para influir en el curso de la política. From three cases of rumors circulating in the province of Tucumán, we will analyze the linkage of the alarming news with a state of exaltation in the population, during the first years of the revolution, within a framework of uncertainty that had singular impact in this province by its character of camping of the “Ejército Auxiliar del Perú”.In a fertile but little explored historiographical field, and following some of the guidelines from the "great fear of 1789" by George Lefebvre, the present work approaches the characteristics of the rumor in this peripheral space with respect to the city of Buenos Aires, but central to the war.The present work maintains that the rumors constitute a fundamental key to observe the forms of access to political participation. Often related to mobilization, but also to shared fears, their propagation caused the immediate reaction of political-military authorities and constructed alternative channels that influenced the course of politics. |
