| الوصف: | L'objectiu de la tesi que porta per titol El léxico técnico de la fotografía en español en el siglo XIX es documentar la creació de térmes relacionats amb la fotografia en espanyol. La necessidad de delimitar l'àmbit d'aquest estudi m'ha portat a establir uns límits temporals i restringir làmbit de la investigació: així, tractaré l'aparició de la fotografia i seguiré la seva evolució al llarg del segle XIX, sense arribar al desenvolupament de la fotografia en color.RESULTATS OBTINGUTS:Pel que fa als dicccionaris acadèmics del segle XIX, s'ha observat que el nombre de noves veus relacionades amb la tècnica fotogràfica va creixent en les succesives edicions de manera paral.lela al desenvolupament que experimenta la tècnica en qüestió.L'actitud de l'Acadèmia quant a l'adopció de tecnicismes afecta també d'una manera significativa al ritme de les incorporacions, donant com a resultat un major nombre de noves accepcions a les edicions més importants en aquest sentit. Encara que els termes tècnics en general apareguin abans en els textos dels especialistes que en les obres lexicogràfiques, resulta significatiu que els termes relacionats amb la fotografia no es comencin a recollir al Diccionario Académico fins més de mig segle més tard. Aquesta tendència, que es pot observar als diccionaris de la Corporación des de la invenció de la fotografia, s'ha mantingut amb el pas del temps malgrat la gran popularització que ha experimentat aquesta tècnica, donant com a resultat una presència molt baixa d'aquest tipus de termes en l'última edició del DRAE.D'altra banda, l'estudi dels diccionaris no acadèmics del XIX, ens ha mostrat com aquestes obres lexicogràfiques mostran una tendencia a recollir el vocabulari científic molt més aviat i amb més gran quantitat que les de la Real Academia.D'aquesta manera, la representació del vocabulari de la fotografia en aquests diccionaris es molt més gran que a les de la Academia, que es veurà tembé influida per la nova corrent lexicogràfica i començarà a augmentar el cabdal de veus d'especialitat al seu repertori.En relació als textos, l'augment de veus especialitzades a mesura que vaavançant el segle no presenta un creixement tant gran com els diccionaris, de manera que als primers manuals de fotografia figura ja una gran part del vocabulari estudiat.D'altra banda, els termes presenten una gran falta de fixació, que es deu a que la fotografia és encara una tècnica molt jove durant tot el segle XIX. Molts d'aquests termes no son creacions pròpies de la fotografia, sinó que aquesta ciència els toma d'altres àmbits d'especialitat (com la química, la física, la óptica o la pintura) o de la llengua general, sense variar substancialment el seu significat (ácido acético, lente, caballete, etc.) o amb un canvi significatiu (diafragma, amplificar, cliché, etc.). Altres vegades, juntament amb les noves realitats es creen també noves denominacions, com enfocar, fotografía, camara fotográfica, etc. Per últim, en quant a la forma de les veus pròpies de la fotografia, destaquen les unitats pluriverbals, que permeten descriure i classificar conceptes. |
| الوصف (مترجم): | The aim of the thesis entitled The technical lexis of photography in 19th-century Spanish is to document the creation of terms related to photography in Spanish. The need to delimit the scope of this study led me to establish some time limits and restrict the field of research: thus, I shall deal with the appearance of photography and I shall follow its evolution throughout the 19th century but I shall not discuss the development of colour photography.ResultsAs far as the academic dictionaries in the 19th-century are concerned, the number of new words related to photography increase with each successive edition parallel to the development of the technique in question. The attitude of the Academy to the adoption of technical terms also significantly affected the rhythm of incorporations, and the result was that more new terms were included in the more important editions. Although technical terms normally appear in texts for specialists before they appear in lexicographic works, it is significant that the terms related to photography were not included in the Diccionario Académico until half a century later. This trend, which can be seen in the dictionaries of the Real Académia from the invention of photography, has been maintained over time despite the considerable popularity that the technique has now acquired. The result is that there are very few of these terms in the latest edition of the DRAE.Likewise, it has been shown that non-academic 18th-century dictionaries tend to include scientific vocabulary much sooner and in much greater quantities than the RealAcademia dictionaries. So, the vocabulary of photography is represented much more widely in these dictionaries than in the Academy dictionaries, which were to be influenced by the new lexicographical currents and soon began to increase the volume of specialist terms in their repertory.As far as the texts are concerned, the number of specialist terms used did not increase as much as it did in dictionaries as the century wore on and much of the vocabulary studied was already included in the first photographic manuals. On the other hand, the terms were far from well established because photography was still a very young technique throughout the 19th century. Many of the terms were not creations of photography strictly speaking but were taken from other specialities (such as chemistry, physics, optics or painting) or general language without changing the meaning significantly (diafragma, amplificar, cliché, etc.). On other occasions, as new realities came into being, new names were created, such as enfocar, fotografía, cámara fotográfica, etc. Finally, as far as the form of the words belonging to photography is concerned, open-form compound words are of particular importance and are used to describe and classify concepts. |
