مستخلص: Objectives: With the high prevalence of oral health issues in the state of Assam, the study aims to comprehend the environmental factors related to specific oral and dental problems. Materials and Methods: A questionnaire and Interview schedule regarding the participants' demographic variables, decayed tooth, missing tooth, periodontal status, filling carries and dental behaviour were administered in five cities of Assam. The statistical analysis evaluated the association and risk factors among the determinants. Using the standard deviation approach, descriptive statistics and crosstab were conducted to identify the association between oral issues and risk factors. Results: The results revealed that DMFT was highly associated with bad dental behaviour practice. Most individuals who smoke and chew tobacco and do not brush their teeth regularly are at high risk of developing DT, MT, and FT. Most of the participants were men who had oral health problems. The evaluation of the individual factors led to the conclusion that they had a detrimental effect on the oral health of various people, particularly youth. Conclusions: Unlike other health measures and infrastructure, oral health treatment is yet to get equal accessibility to the common masses. In this era of technology, these health inequalities need more attention, and feasible technology such as Mobile technology, electronic health records, Diagnostic imaging machines, etc., should be instrumented in remote communities.Clinical Relevance: This result underlines how important it is for health managers to consider each of these variables when creating oral health promotion strategies and preventive policies. This enquiry supports the significant influence of socio-behavioural and environmental determinants in causing oral health burden, significantly to lower socio-economic people
