مستخلص: AN INVESTIGATION WAS CONDUCTED TO DETERMINE IF GROUPS OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS NUMERICALLY IN EXCESS OF 50 COULD BE AS EFFECTIVELY INSTRUCTED IN TYPEWRITING SKILLS AS GROUPS OF LESS THAN 30. STUDENTS ENROLLED IN 1ST-YEAR TYPEWRITING WERE RANDOMLY ASSIGNED TO TWO LARGE GROUPS AND THREE SMALL GROUPS TAUGHT BY THE SAME INSTRUCTOR. TEACHER-MADE, 3-MINUTE TIMED WRITING TESTS WERE ADMINISTERED IN SEPTEMBER AND IN MAY. THE RESULTS INDICATED THAT THE SMALL GROUPS DID NOT ACHIEVE SIGNIFICANTLY GREATER IN TYPEWRITING SKILLS THAN THE LARGE GROUPS. (SF)
