Each entry contains a variety of contact information, a contact person, and a short description of the organization or agency and the services offered. The first section presents national and multistate nongovernment organizations in three areas: advocacy, networking, and reform; research, development, technical assistance, and training; and funding and sponsorship. The second section lists federal departments and their offices or agencies relevant to migrant workers and their families: U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Social Security Administration. The third section presents publishers and producers of publications relevant to migrants. The fourth section covers relevant state government agencies and nongovernment organizations for every state, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories.
