مستخلص: The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between supervisee satisfaction, role ambiguity and working alliance in supervision, and self-efficacy beliefs in graduate psychology students. The study will also look at the mediating role of discussions of cultural variables in supervision. Participants were domestic and international students in several graduate clinical and counseling psychology programs in the U.S. It was expected that a relationship between satisfaction with supervision, working alliance, role ambiguity, and self-efficacy levels would be found. High levels of satisfaction with supervision and working alliance, and lower levels on role ambiguity were expected to correlate positively with high levels of self-efficacy in both domestic and international students. It was hypothesized that international students would score lower on perceived self-efficacy; acculturation-related factors would be considered when interpreting these findings. This study also looked at the relationship between role ambiguity, working alliance, and acculturation levels. It was expected that lower acculturation levels would be correlated with higher role ambiguity ratings, as well as lower working alliance.
