مستخلص: The topic of school safety remains a widely researched subject globally. Teachers' perspectives concerning various stakeholders' roles and responsibilities in ensuring a secure school environment are often overlooked within this field. Unfortunately, there is a noticeable gap in this area's available literature. This research aims to fill this void by collecting data from secondary school teachers regarding their views on the roles and responsibilities of key actors, including principals, teachers, parents, students, and school security personnel, in creating a safe school atmosphere. The data used in this study was acquired through semi-structured interviews with secondary grade teachers, encompassing grades 6 to 12, from three diverse school districts within Texas ESC Region 2. This qualitative investigation delves into teachers' perceptions of how the mentioned stakeholders contribute to establishing a safe school environment. The interview responses were transcribed, analyzed, and organized into themes. Overall, the teachers interviewed expressed positive sentiments regarding school safety, with most indicating satisfaction with the safety measures on their campuses. Key themes that emerged from the study included preparedness, effective communication, and trust. The findings underscore the necessity for further research into teacher perceptions concerning stakeholder roles and advocate for additional exploration into these stakeholders' perspectives.
