مستخلص: How are finances impacted in the higher education environment? How are students currently experiencing college? How are higher education leaders putting forth their best effort in ensuring the viability and sustainability of postsecondary institutions? These are key questions surrounding the most critical trending topics in higher education today. Higher education leaders must consider if the financial strength of colleges and universities is strong enough to endure fiscal challenges (Armstrong, 2014). Moreover, leaders must consider how these challenges may affect student learning, development, and success. This case study examined fiscal influences impacting the financial health of public four-year higher education institutions as well as a range of factors influencing student experience. It further quantified the relationship between higher education financial health and student experience and the relationship between student experience and student success. It is imperative that higher education leaders, governance, and policymakers strategize to secure resources necessary for institutional survival as well as how to improve and establish programs and services needed to enhance college student experience and ensure student success.
